Position #1: Part-Time IV Infusions Technician/Nurse/Paramedic

VIDA Integrative Medicine is currently seeking an IV Infusion Technician to join our rapidly growing practice and offer their expertise and compassionate care to our patients. Extensive experience in administering IV Nutrient Infusions is required.

We provide patients with specialized medical consultations and lifestyle evaluations in an outpatient setting. We provide comprehensive and in-depth personalized care in a spa-like, nurturing environment. Our practice treats a broad spectrum of patients- including patients with complex medical conditions, autoimmune disorders, adrenal dysfunction, gastrointestinal issues, hormones dysregulation, Lyme and co-infections, mold exposure, environmental toxin exposures, mystery disorders, and athletes wishing to optimize their performance.

The ideal candidate will be a compassionate people-person who is enthusiastic about IV nutrient infusions and all the benefits they provide, is organized and reliable, lives a healthy lifestyle, and has experience in sales or retail.

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate IV infusions in our IVIDA Nutrient Infusions lounge
    • Charting IVs, vitals, and other appropriate information in Electronic Medical Record system
    • Reviewing medical charts for allergies, past medical history, etc.
    • Facilitating an amazing spa-like experience with our Vibe Bed, Inner Balance, and Alpha Stim (training given once hired) relaxation treatments
    • Providing nutrient consultations
    • Inventory and stocking of IV products
    • Be a liaison between patients and the doctor
    • Performing basic phlebotomy procedures
    • Taking vital signs and charting them

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Certification as an IV Technician
    • Extensive IV infusion and experience
    • Excellent customer service skills

* This is a part-time position, two days per week from 9 AM-5 PM, may increase to full time
* Bilingual English/Spanish a plus

Position #2: Part-time Medial Assistant (CMA or RMA required, IV Therapy certification is a MAJOR PLUS!)

Responsibilities:

– Be a liaison between patients and the doctor

– Performing basic phlebotomy procedures

– Taking vital signs and charting them

– Executing/digitally ordering laboratory tests with Quest, LabCorp, Cleveland Heart Lab, etc.

– Preparing and administering vitamin shots

– Experience working with EMR software (we use Practice Fusion)

– Completing test kit forms

– Effective communication skills – concise and accurate note-taking and verbal transmission of information

– Good customer service skills are very important. When people don’t feel well they sometimes show their negative sides so we need to be able to see past that.

– Making appointments in Practice Fusion

– Tracking lab and other test results

– Maintaining medical supplies inventory

– In addition the successful candidate will “Walk the walk”- in other words if we expect and request patients to eat healthy foods, exercise and manage stress in effective ways I expect the staff to do similar behaviors.

– Potential for ongoing education with conference/courses for an interested person to learn more about functional medicine.

* This is a part-time position- 16-30 hours per week
