Is your cup empty or full? I like to use this as an analogy for self-care. When everyone else is a higher priority than ourselves, we eventually (and unknowingly) empty our own cups in an attempt to make sure everyone else’s cup is filled. We keep giving even when there is nothing left to give. Self-care is the least selfish thing that you do as it enables you to take care of those that you love and satisfy the myriad of demands placed on you every day.
On Tuesday, Nov. 28th at 6:30 pm I will be presenting “Life Hacking 101: The Importance of Self-Care” along with VIDA’s Health Coach, Leslie Harrington. I hope to see you there!
